This week's song is a classic folk song from the film 1983 Hero. The song is called 'Lambi Judaai', sung by folk singer Reshma. The music of the film was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The lyrics were written by the late Anand Bakshi. The film stars Jackie Shroff & Meenaktchi Sheshadri and was directed by director-producer Subhash Ghai.

For Reshma it's been a ''lambi judaai'' (long separation) from Amritsar and her fans welcomed her with open arms today. It has been over two decades since she sang the song ''lambi judaai'' for Subhash Ghai's film 'Hero'. ''I really wanted to pay obeisance at Harmander Sahib'', she said.
"Judaai" is a 1997 hindi film which has Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, Urmila Matondkar, Farida Jalal, Saeed Jaffrey, Kader Khan, Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Dinesh Hingoo, Dharmesh Tiwari, Shahzaad, Poonam Dhillon, Jr Mehmood and Upasna Singh in lead roles.
