The One reviewed the Amiga version of Chip's Challenge in 1990, giving it an overall score of 88%, and expressing that while "It might not look or sound like much, but Chip's Challenge packs a very addictive punch. The iconic graphics are colorful but little more than functional, and the musical accompaniment is inoffensive if endlessly repetitive - but in this game, frills don't count." The One praises Chip's Challenge's gameplay, calling it "a puzzle player's dream", expressing that the game's puzzles require "quick thinking" and "experimentation", and further praises their difficulty.[10]

I have a historically significant amiga. It is an A1000, and it is the one they submitted to UL for approval. I think it is serial number 17. An interesting tidbit is it was missing the ram expansion cover when I got it, and I never thought much about it, but it turns out that at that point in the game they were not sure if they were going to go with the check logo or the Amiga logo on it, so there is a good chance it was not missing, as much as it the design was not committed. Kind of a neat piece. 2ff7e9595c
